Only a trained professional who has been able to interview you will be able to determine if you have depression. However, your score on the CES-Depression Scale indicates that you have a very low probability of having depression at this time.

The likelihood that you have major or clinical depression is high.

The funny thing is, i'm not actually depressed right now, or at least i do not feel like i am compared to when i actually was.

Maybe i am just numb to everything now though...hard to say.

Quiz: Are you depressed?

How many times in the past week have you felt like the statement below?

Question #6 I felt depressed
Rarely or none of the time (less than 1 day)
Some or a little of the time (1-2 days)
Occasionally or a moderate amount of time (3-4 days)
Most or all of the time (5-7 days)

yeah i felt that that question was stupid too. actually most of the questions are pretty stupid, i was suspecting that it's a quiz made up by some pharma company to get you to take their medication, but it's written by ABC.

You appear to be suffering from moderate depressive symptoms, commonly associated with depressive disorders.

You may be feeling hopeless and uninterested in life, eating or sleeping more or less than usual, and/or feeling less interest and pleaure in sex. But this illness may also cause other symptoms not easily recognized as depression, such as anxiety, irritability, agitation, or chronic indecisiveness. In other words, you can suffer a depression and not feel blue.

These symptoms appear to be causing you some noticeable signs of impairment and distress, and you would probably benefit from the attention of a trained mental health professional for further evaluation and a more comprehensive diagnosis.

25?!

That's bullshit! I only answered like 4 or 5 of the questions positively for depression. Guess that it was enough...

That test alone might cause some people to become depressed.

You appear to be experiencing mild depressive symptoms.

I think I exaggerated or interpreted the questions the wrong way, because I'm pretty much perfectly happy.

People with mild depression can usually still function at work and socially, but may have a low-level depressed mood, feelings of boredom or restlessness, or poor self-esteem.

Hmm...I guess I'm bored or restless a lot. I don't really have poor self-esteem...
