I have opted for no screen saver. I just have my monitor shut down after 5 minutes.

I use the star one on Windows. It is my one and only screensaver I use.

In the old days when monitors suffered from burned-in images, screen savers took up too much valuable computer memory and CPU cycles - causing noticibly poorer performance. So I never used them, and just turned off the monitor when I left.

Now screens can be left on the same image for years and have no burned-in effect. So screensavers are useless. Thus even though they no longer take up significant resources, I never saw a reason to use them.
