yes.

my job is cr4p but it pays the bills and i get to post and it's not very high stress and in truth having a great job isn't the biggest priority in my life.

i have a wonderful wife and a new baby girl and we are all healthy. we haven't found a house yet but i know we will eventually, and even if we have to continue to rent, we really love our apartment.

i need to lose some weight but i know i can do it, it will just take a little more determination.

there are many things i'd like to do like learn a couple of languages, read certain books, finish a couple of games, but if i don't get to it that's ok.

being content is all about perspective.

Yes...in the end I know everything will turn out fine, in the process of getting there I kno w I have work to do.

Can you look yourself in a mirror tonight, this instant, and say to yourself, "I am content with who I am, what I have become? What I will become?" Despite all the mistakes, wrong-doings, pain and suffering we all endure, are you happy to be where you are?

Yes I am.

The best part was meeting my wife ( married 15 years now ) 3 kids ages 14 to 12 and being content with what I have in life and not carrying any grudges against anyone who have tried to hurt me in my life. Having a forgiving heart. Not lusting after worldly things.

good question:

im a very optimistic person and i always look forward to the promising future. however when i look back at my past, my initial thought is not content, although a lot of beautiful things have happened to me. (lovely gf, nostalgic memories, etc..)

Once I finish my doomsday device, and the citizens of the world bow down before their new overlord, I'll feel more complete as a person.

Being content does not necessarily mean one is static - but it does imply a certain comfort with the level one is at.

nope, i WILL never be content. I will always have a higher goal to achieve, and that, in and of itself, makes me content.

While I understand being content does not equal being at a state of rest, I'm too anxious to continue to improve myself to be content for very long. I've wasted so much time...

Yes, because I have food to eat, clothes to wear, and a job. Take away any or all of those and I'll still be content that I have my health and relationships

i'm happy with my personality, friends, family, and academic life.... but i want washboard abs and 7 figures 😀
