<< Do you think that the quality of your monitor has anything to do with this test. I was able to see them all with ease, but i'm wondering about people with crappy monitors. >>

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm on a trinitron tube so everything is vibrant and accruate. But for someone with a cheap monitor that doesn't even have an good shadow mask...

I'm not colorblind. But I definitely strained my eyes while going thru the tests :(

Anywayzzzz I feel folks should sit at least 3 feet away from the screen for the tests, else you'll end up like me with tired and strained eyesight!

<< That's bs. On some, it indicated that I was somewhat red-green color blind. On others, it said that I shouldn't be able to see the numbers if I *was* red-green color blind, but I could. So, I am both red-green color blind and not red-green color blind. Is this the physiological analog of Schrödinger's cat?

Similar to MichaelD, I have no problem seeing red or green. I only have problems picking out things in these tests. As these tests never seem to appear in the normal course of my day, I think I'll be fine...
>>

there are many many types of colorblindness, a common one is red green deficiency, so you might have one that is similar to rgd, but not it. if the site were to list everything you could have if you see this and don't see this then the page would be pages long.

I'm not, but I was able to pick out all but one of the numbers that supposedly are only seen in red-green colourblindness. It was weird, if I stared at the dots, the two different numbers (one for "normal" vision and one for red-green colourblindness) would fade in and out between the two.

I couldn't read plate 8. After I knew what number it was I could make it out, but barely.
In plate 20, the line was hard to see but I saw it after a bit.
Same with plate 21, this one was a bit easier though.

So what does this mean? :)

I was diagnosed as a child as almost completely colorblind, which came as a surprise to me since, as far as I was concerned, I could see a whole rainbow of colors. The way it was explained to me, is that although I see red, I may see it differently than everyone else, and so on for all the colors. This means that different colors would be complementary to my sight than to 'normal' sight, but I am not limited to shades of gray.

I saw exactly two plates of what I was supposed to. Chalk me up as a yes, but I knew this since 2nd grade.

I am very color blind. Hard time with green and brown or blue and purple.

But, the most significant issue is the fact that I don't understand what YOU PEOPLE are talking about when you say two colors match or clash!

Yes, that test is brutal. I don't usually have problems telling apart colors. Can tell color TV image apart from B&W image.
