"The test to the left is simpler.
The individual with normal color vision will see a 5 revealed in the dot pattern.
An individual with Red/Green (the most common) color blindness will see a 2 revealed in the dots."

I saw an 8 :(

Are you sure you didn't see a 5 as well?

I got the first one, 25. Nothing on the rest. My wife lays out my clothes.
Sigh. I only saw the 25 as well. If I squnt a lot, I can see how a 56 might be in the right column, middle row.

No wonder I always get help clothes-shopping. I need it.

Same questions for you:

"Do you have trouble with traffic lights? Telling people's ethnicities? Any other things that bother you?"

Yes
Radar charts are hard to read, or any chart based on color only.
Never know what to do at a single-unit flashing light. Especially if there is no traffic in front of me. Could be a flashing yellow, could be a flashing red.

I started to answer sarcastically but since you asked again I'll spare you.

No problem with any of that. I see colors but green/brown and dark colors (black, navy, any dark shade) might as well be the same. Side by side, I can tell a difference but that's the only way. And I can't match clothes at all. Don't have a concept why one color goes with another.

I was always red-green color blind. To be honest, I think I have some input sensory disorder in general.

Do you guys get annoyed at cars that have flashing turn signal lights that are red instead of amber?

Or is it the opposite?

I HATE those as they do not stand out from the brake lights at all.

Color blind people were used during WWII to decipher B&W aerial reconnaissance photos, because they can pick out color non-dependent detail better.

Same with deer. That's why hunters can wear orange vests, but also use camo patterns to blend in.

I couldn't have stated that better myself.
