No. I'm happy with my SGS2. I'm fairly certain my siblings will be getting iPhone 5s to replace their 3(S) though.

I was really hoping for LTE as 3G speeds in my area have gone downhill. If the ip5 doesn't have it then it will likely be the Nexus Prime for me.

I thought the retarded title was a poignant commentary of the foolishness of discussing unreleased hardware and the level of discourse that results in.. But from his post is actually sounds like that's how he talks/writes? I didn't know anyone on a tech forum was actually that illiterate.

Extremely disappointed it's only gonna be a 4S but I'm sick and tired of Android and am going back to iOS...
 
I'm buying it(on contract renewal)!! To resell and have a free contract for my current WP7 for the next year. 🙂
 
it's either WP7 or IP5 (if it hits Sprint)... But most likely the next iOS, mainly because Sprint is getting rid of their premier program. So I have 'til this year to get a new phone. By that time, Nokia, nor samsung, will have a decent WP7 device.

Apple, here I come! (At least I get the Apple's build quality!)
 
Everyone in this forum is very hostile towards any Apple users. Its hardly surprising there isn't a post about it.

apple is working on iPhone 5 in the same sense AMD is working on radeon 7000. To say either are pipe dreams because they are unannounced is deliberate trolling. Since they are leaving the best foundry in the ARM space for an also-ran, they will have to reposition some things and that has set them back, which is why we are getting a dual core 8mp iPhone 4 in the meantime. If they called the 4S an iPhone 5, the way a 9800 GTX was called GTS250, they would sell more of them. I frankly don't know what they were thinking there. But clearly the A6 SoC was intended for sam's 32nm process and has been pushed over to TSMC's 28nm because Apple is too insecure to play fair in the marketplace and decided to cut ties with samsung completely. But even that takes time. Switching your design over to a completely different fab company and fab process takes even longer. Tolerating the inevitable delays that TSMC is famous for takes longer still.

I'm glad we don't have 3 generations of 45nm phones though. I personally am bored with this node. Waiting for HKMG to see what I'll be carrying next.

lets supposed you buy the ip4s. would that prevent you from getting a deal on ip5 from your carrier 6 months from now?
