Put your hand on your sack and remind yourself that you aren't a woman, then go get drunk and watch a football game.

Should fix that problem right up.

Women don't over-think ... they go shopping.

HEY NOW!!!;):p

Shopping does help!

Certainly, why consider the state of the retail sector of the economy were it not for shopping.

Thought? Overthought? Meh. Sometimes.

Cheers ! :)

I overthink things a lot. My wife can't stand it. For example I'm watching TV and on the show/commerical someone sits down to dinner with a red shirt on. When that person stands up and has a green shirt on, I complain that they goofed. I have to restrain myself from mentioning it (I don't want her complaining about me over analyzing things again). I catch things like that all the time - like thoroughout the dinner, the glass of wine gets fuller and fuller... Just coming out of a shower, the actress already has her makeup done perfectly. When waking up, her hair has already been curled - not a single indentation from the pillow. When driving along in a car, the car's clock jumps forward and backward in time.

I cannot help myself from spotting these things.

I'm a decisive over thinker. :D I make the decission then I figure out what to do. For example, during my last semester of college I decided that I was going to go out to LA. After I decided I was going is when I worked out where I would stay, when/how I was going to move out there etc.

I guess I kinda got the whole proccess backwards, but it works for me so oh well. :)

EDIT: Also, while I'm over thinking I usually do it out loud and have a converstation w/myself. It works out much better that way (easer to keep things straight). Plus I'm my own devil's advocate. :D

I over think EVERYTHING. That is my problem. I will get in a relationship with a female..... then tear myself apart asking if it is the right thing to do. Asking what other people will think about us, if I would marry her, what she is thinking.... and so on.

When it comes to buying something new, I will read every review I can find online.... then find the best money/quality combo, then think aout fro another month then buy it.

I over analyze stuff waaaaay too much.

I'd say that's more paranoia and insecurity than being analytical. :)

Could be.

Sit down with a bunch of girls and watch a Lifetime movie. You will reach the conclusion in 30 seconds that the movie is crap and that it has no redeeming features - a correct conclusion. The women will debate the heroine's response to the insensitivity of the male character when told that she is dying of cancer.

Now who is overthinking?

A friend of mine once told me that if he asked me what time it was, I'd have to think about how a watch works. Sad but true.

Yes I most definitely am an over thinker. I think non stop... I can pass by so many hours just thinking. I look at things from as many different angles as I can think of. That sucks when I've got trouble with a relationship though because it ends up leading to depression, and it being my own damn fault. I can't really help it though. At least I don't do that with most things... I mean, I look at things from as many angles as possible and I try to make a point of being open minded, but I don't obsess with most things and think over them for hours like I would with relationship things.
