I am not sure you can make am+bi+vert, when ambi is a prefix itself.

Fair enough. I see english is not your first language, but good info nonetheless.

But at least you see into the mind of a leader/extrovert via my post.

Are you talking in general terms, or as defined by meyers/briggs/keirsey, or what? The way we use the terms every day is nothing like what they mean when discussing temperent sorters.

Dude, just try. Make it a conscious effort.

I was once very shy, and made the concerted effort to be more extroverted back when I was 16. It's paid more dividends than one could imagine.

Get out there, say hello and strike up the converstation. It's a social skill that has to be developed, and to develop it you have to try. So try.

I'm not trying to brag, but you can pick out the introverts very easily and as such you can control them. they do what you tell them to do and they never question. They are the followers, not the leaders.

Sounds like you're saying introvert = spineless. Uh, no.

i was an introvert in high school decided thats not who i wanted to be when i went away to college. so yes it is possible to change yourself. It is always possible to reinvent yourself. don't listen to taht people never change stuff. Core values usually dont change but who you are as aperson can change as frequently and as offten as you would like.

it is generally considered to not be possible, or at least not worth trying to change. an introvert can gain social skills that allow them to function as well as an extrovert or at least fake it. and they CAN enjoy hanging out with friends, sure. but a strong introvert will always prefer to "recharge their batteries" by spending quiet time or alone time. it's also important to realize that this is a continum, not an either/or, so everyone has a little of both and falls somewhere between the two poles.

BTW, in america, about 80% of the population are extroverts. in britain, about 80% are introverts. cultural upbringing is considered a strong factor, but it is something that gets ingrained very strongly and from a young age, so that's why it is tough to change.

you are NOT an introvert, it's as simple as that. what you are is a shy extrovert, or one with social anxiety. an introvert would say they thrive on being alone to think.

wow. just wow. introversion has nothing to do with confidence or being a leader/follower or any of that. there is a huge difference between picking out introverts and picking out social retards. if anything, an introvert will find it EASIER to control people, because they can think with their head and not with their mouth, and thus be far more in control of the things they say.

famous introverts:
abraham lincoln
bill gates
queen elizabeth II
steven spielberg
warren buffett
michael jordan
harry truman

all those people control or controlled vast empires of people and/or wealth. that's more than you can say, extrovert-boy!

Interesting. I've never thought of it that way. Still doesn't change what I am though. :/

I prefer to be Introverted, but if I need to I can function in a big group. I would just rather not.
