An Immortalist is someone who knows that Heaven, Paradise, Life after Life, etc. is a fantasy, that death is oblivion and, of course, wants to live for as long as he/she/it wants to.

Also, anyone who "knows" that heaven, hell, etc. do or do not exist...well they have some issues.
 
i don't want to live forever, but i want to be remembered for a lonnng time.

think about how much time you'd have to dedicate towards killing inferior people :evil:
 
No way do I want to live forever. Even if I had the choice to be immortal, and never age beyond a certain point, I would always wonder what death was like, and if there was actually anything beyond...
 
Oh hell yes! I'd have an awesome sword collection and get to chop people's heads off and make lighting bolts shoot out of everything. Plus, think of all the hot babes you'd get to do throughout history.

Wouldn't you rather die when YOU choose to? I mean come on people. The idea of immortality isn't that you HAVE to live forever, just that you can be a healthy adult until you decide you're sick of the whole "living" thing.

See above. Plus...what's the point of an eternal afterlife when you could have effectively the same thing without having to gamble on there being an afterlife or not. You're gonna wander in front of a bus one day anyway, so why not live as long as you can?

To all the people who believe in an afterlife: if you think that living forever would be terrible, and get boring, why would you look forward to exactly that after death? 😕
