Exempt. No OT, but a pretty reasonable comp time policy.

Non-exempt. Position should be exempt. Have pointed it out and escalated it through the appropriate channels.

Why do you want to be exempt? So you can work more and get paid the same??

Excempt. I don't really care for OT pay anyway since most of it is going to be tax. I rather get days in lieu. Not that I need any, I still have 44 days of vacation left ( carried over from yesteryears + this year). I think I may just take every Wednesday off :)

I'm exempt. If I work 38 hours I get paid for 38. If I work 90 hours I get paid for 40. It kind of takes the fun out of being salary.

I do not support that kind of mixed marriage.

That's illegal. They aren't allowed to track your hours if you're exempt- that would be a double standard. That's the whole point. If you're ready and willing to work, you have to get paid for those hours.

Because I fvcking hate having to track my time. Because I want the flexibility of being able to work however much I have to for the job at hand. Because I'm fvcking sick and tired of feeling guilty for working anything over 40 hours in a week.

Wrong. Exempt means exempt from OT provisions. It doesn't mean that the employee's hours cannot be tracked.
