Are you afraid to post your real name on the internet?

First or whole? I post my real name in professional capacities and never personally. Other than my personal religious beliefs there isn't anything in my personal life that would potentially affect my professional but I prefer my privacy and keeping those parts of my life separate.

I speak my mind more freely in a private and online setting than I would at work and I see no reason to give work access to those places where required discretion levels are, appropriately, different.

I heard that the bogeyman will come and he will harass you like the paparazzi if you post your real name on the internet.
So, I do not post my real name.

That said, it is in my profile, and it is public, so people can look it up if they want. But, the bogeyman doesn't know how to view profiles, so I am safe!
