Are you afraid of heights? Watch these vids

Came across a couple scary height-related videos the other day, and watching them really made my palms sweaty. I guess I'm more afraid of heights than I thought (though I love roller-coasters, oddly enough).

This one I saw first, crazy pathway/walk/trail in Spain, Kings Walkway -

And this one really made my palms sweat for some reason. I like the music along with when the camera-person brings the camera up close to that angelic/pretty looking Nordic girl, adds a nice touch. From Pulpit Rock in Norway.

And here's another bonus vid... I just found this insanely cool, not quite as scary, but still probably not something I'd have the balls to ever do =) Wing-suit base-jumping

Ok, I've never had one of those traditional falling dreams. But when I was a kid I used to dream of running down a hill and jumping and not being able to get back on the ground. That last video I think shall bring those dreams back.

It was cool till you had to land.

F that. I have always been scared of heights. Rollercoasters and stuff like that don't bother me, but those videos do.

I thought you were going to post this vid:

Those dudes are seriously fucked up. 😀

[edit]Dammit, beaten! 🙁

Depends on what I'm standing on. I'd be fine in the second vid, as that's solid rock, but the first vid with the rusty iron frame and holes in the path, I just wouldn't go there unless I had to. And that balance-beam thing the camera man did is just retarded. If I had to I could do it, but no reason to put myself in danger like that.

That said, I fully intend to got skydiving at some point in the next decade, and that wing-suit/base jumping deal looks awesome. 🙂 If I had the time/money/location, I would definitely want to learn that. At least then you have the security of your own skill, your parachute, and your backup parachute.

I'm afraid of falling from any height, but if I had a cable attached to me that whole time, I'd feel just fine. Mind you, I might be able to work up the nerve to do what was featured as is, but I won't make any bets. My life or another's depended on it? Then yes, some other adrenaline to counteract the fearful adrenaline.

That last video? I so want to do. 😀
Still wanna bungee jump, skydive, base jump, etc etc.

Second video was meh, who cares.. it's solid rock. The first one... wtf. I wouldn't want to have to balance on a friggin pole the size of a railroad track with nothing but emptiness below me 🙁

I'm definitely glad I don't have to walk the path in the first movie on a daily basis...

The second one had no sense of depth, so it didn't bother me.

The wing-suits look like a blast, but I'll leave them for someone with a MUCH larger pair than me.

I don't like heights...or SOME heights anyway. I can stand on the edge of a cliff and look down and it doesn't bother me, but on a construction job, if I tried to walk a beam like the ironworkers do...they'd never get the finger prints out of the steel...😀

wingsuits look awesome. if only they could make a suit that wouldn't require any parachute at all...talk about falling with style

The guys doing pullups on the crane is still the worst, but the King's Path vid is pretty nuts as well. I couldn't believe the huge gaps in the path.

That's a whole other level of awesomeness.

The paths, if i was there, i know i would have to do them.

I love heights, & while i'd certainly be freaked, it'd be something i'd just have to do.

And the widesuit base jumping = likely the coolest thing i have ever seen.

That has to be simply incomprehendably amazing.
Unreal.
