I am adopted.

I have known I was adopted since I can remember.

I don't know my real parents and don't care to. I figure they can either be dirt poor, and I am better off as I am, or Bill Gates, and better off not knowing.

I would like to know if I have any siblings.

Anyone else around here adopted and know anything about their past?
Like how old where you when you were adopted and/or when did you find out.

 
no, but i havn't lived with my parents since i was 12 either... its a long story

Edit: kind of misleading, i'm 20 and in college, and living in an apartment, what i mean is i hardly had any contact with them since i was 12.

How old was she when she was adopted and how old is she now?

Could it be the usual teen "hate my parents" phase?
 
I'm "semi-adopted."

My mother died when I was 7. I used to live with my uncle's family for about one year. Then I've had 2 step mothers including my current one who I get along quite well.

Heh heh...but that leaves your mom with the opportunity to say something incredibly sassy 😉
 
I am...never knew my real father, mother was (and still is) here and there. My step-father who has played "dad" since I was 11 months old was going to adopt me in 2000, but then he died...hence my grandfather took over....
