Are you able to not talk about your past/same for your date, about both your past relationship?

Everybody keep telling its a bad thing to talk about our past relationship, but is it me or every time iv date girls, it ALWAYS come into the conversation, either i start or she start it???

Iv never met a girl that it wasent a subject of the discussion...you?

 
if they bring up past relationships on the first couple of dates then you don't date them anymore.

sure I'm able to talk about past stuff with a date..

the point is it is extremely disrespectful.
 
my b/f knows everything that has ever happened to me. It was only fair, since i had such deep trust issues for the first 2yrs we were together. If was only fair that he knew why.

And I am friends with an ex of mine who still calls for the holiday's or my bday (he is married now)... and my b/f talks to him more than i do.

when the b/f tells me about his past... he never refers to anyone by name or anything. he usually refers to them as... that unit. But I have no problem with it, cause I am the love of his life and there is no threat from anywhere.
