After a night of revelry that brought some to the brink of death and others to the brink of life, the village awakens in mid afternoon... and it all hurts the most.

Overcoming your limited ability to see through a single blood-shot eye and the fear of knowing that comes with each morning now, you make your way to the village square. You look around and are instantly sobered. The sun has moved some hour in the sky but you have no memory of what has happened. You memory contains vague images, but no narrative cohesion can be drawn: no explanation for your missing time.

If you dare to look into your own mind:
What you find makes it clear that they stalked down the villager;

Furious that their fellow wolf was destroyed; double enraged that they could do nothing to stop it!

They took out their furry on him with surgical accuracy and mindless rage;

His flesh was rended, through a slow flying of it from the mussel; leaving him alive.

Tonight, they did not kill because they were hungry: but because they wanted revenge; Tonight they left their prey alive… skinless, every nerve ending exposed to the sandy ground, eyes gouged and slowly bleeding in un-ending pain.

Out of pitty, sadness, and an inability to deal with their revulsion: the town destroys the writhing, faceless, villager; but does not have the emotional fortitude to provide for a proper burial...

You realize through hazy memories, that
Vshah an innocent VILLAGER
is dead.

It's not revenge or glorry, but a nearly nausaiting sense of self-preservation that drives the village now... someone here did this and that person must die...

Well, vshah being dead makes it easy for me to figure out who the wolves are, since he was one of the few "maybes".

I believe Cuda1447 and gw186 are the wolves, or POSSIBLY elfenix instead of one of them.

Not going to place my official vote yet, i want to see what others believe, but I can back up my suspicions later- need to go to the store right now.
 
interesting choice for the wolves. seeing as he had been pretty quiet and abstained from lynching Zeze, he was looking suspicious already. i might have nominated him myself.

from what i can tell the only other person hesitating on Zeze was Chiropteran. but i dont think too damning overall...
 
I have been leaning towards Cuda1447. I will put my vote for him as of now, but could have my mind changed by a good argument. (This will at least get us started. Lets see if we can make it 2 out of the last 2).
 
I'll go ahead and go with Cuda1447 for now as well.

Here is my entire chain of logic, please tell me if it doesn't make sense:

Prior to last night, we had Ashenor, me, Cuda1447, Drum, ElFenix, gw186, HardcoreRobot, Lazarus52980, SchneiderGuy, and Vshah alive.

I am almost certain Ashenor & HardcoreRobot are innocents, in addition to myself, based on how strong they pushed to lunch zeze when the rest were undecided. A wolf would NOT do that.

Drum also pushed to lunch zeze, as well as lazarus, so I don't have any suspicion towards them.

ShneiderGuy- I am assuming he is innocent because zeze wouldn't accuse a fellow wolf, would he? Although it could have been some complex bluff to misdirect us, I think the simplest explanation is that he is an innocent.

So the possible wolves would be Cuda1447, gw186, Vshah, and ElFenix

Elfenix voted to lunch zeze in the end, but i still think he could be a wolf and he just did that to throw off suspicion, since at that point zeze was a goner no matter what.

Since the wolves did me a favor by eliminating one of the ones I wasn't sure of (Vshah), I feel pretty strongly that the wolves are among the 3 remaining possibles above- and Elfenix seems slightly less likely than the others, based on voting for zeze.

Of course, you might doubt my innocence, as HardcoreRobot points out I was late to vote on zeze, but that just because I was really unsure of his wolfyness. Now that we know he is a wolf it is fairly revealing as far as who the innocents are.

I think tonight's wolf killing will be telling. If I am killed, don't forget this post, they will probably kill me if I am right on the money. Or maybe not, just as a bluff. Who knows!

I think our thought process is pretty simular on this. I have the same few in mind, if we can get another wolf tonight that will be huge with 9 of us left. Cudda1447 was in my top 2 choices for today, and i am ok with him unless a good arguement is made.
 
I am good with lynching cuda too. i actually agree with batman's assessment, those were the same people I was skeptical about. i think elfenix is savvier than he is letting on.

based on schneiderguy and zeze interaction earlier, i would be very surprised if they were both wolves
 
I can go along with cuda.

I was on the red mafia with him last game and he was much more outspoken which lead to him getting lynched IIRC. I suspect he has switched strategies this game since he's been pretty quiet 😛
 
Chirop, what is making you so certain about cuda? All he has really done is try to kill Alive which is what he does regardless every game. Is it his lack of input?
 
I haven't switched strategies, I just haven't had a need to speak yet. I honestly don't know who the wolves are, but I will tell you this. I am NOT a wolf. Look at my vote history, I have been good with jumping on any lynching bandwagon, as I know we need to lynch people to have a shot at killing the wolves. I think I was slow on the zeze lynching due to it happening very quick and me being at work. But I assure you, I am not the wolf. Feel free to grill me on anything to ascertain my truthfulness, but I urge you to SLOW down against me. If after we discuss it, you all want to lynch me still, that is fine. But allow me to defend myself first, as I am not a wolf and I want to show my fellow innocents taht I am not so that we still have a shot at winning.

Everyone, now wary of being brought out to eat and of weary of celebration, decides to have nice, safe, lunch, post hang-over, 5pm brunch…

Chiropteran says, as he eats a juicy bit of fruit, that he has been pinging through various potentials in his mind, and concludes that the wolves killed someone that had some reasonable suspicion… HCRobot drinks a few beers, mentions that Chiropteran seems a little suspicious, and burps heinously… Lazerous, half alive but looking mostly dead, says he thinks the village should string-up Cuda… Cuda1447 is about to raise his voice in his own defense when Chiropteran swoops in and, in natural, extensive, deductive stance, explains a chain of reasoning that, too, places Cuda squarely in the hang-man’s noose.

Ashenor, and HCRobot listen intently to the dissertation on the deservedness of death hanging about Cuda, and both agree; As Cuda1447 begins to explain himself the death-nail comes in by then hands of schneiderguy, who, with clear support by the town literally drives a spike into the head of Cuda

What have you done… what does it matter… a simple picnic, a friendly conversation… a fear of death that is driving the once fair villagers of this town to become monsters themselves! The town sleeps; but to the person the villagers have bitter-sweet dreams of being monsters themselves…

I'm thinking of ending days after 24 hours next time, but only ending them after the 24hours (even if everyone else votes for someone 1 hr in) to allow people time to argue/change minds.

any thoughts?

rules update:

The new day/night sequence will be:
Up-to 24 hours for night, with it ending when all info is in and I post an up-date.

Exactly 24 hours for day, even if everyone agrees to a lunch before 24 hours the person with the majost votes at the 24 hour mark will be the one killed; This should give some time to think through and make arguments.
