According to Possessed, I was jailed. So, it can't possibly be me being the pyro if he is in fact a legitimate jailer. I want to hear his defense before I vote for him.

EDIT: Someone is lying about their role or if they are on fire.

How can I be mafia? There is 4 people left. 3 are good villagers. Two people claim they are on fire. So that leaves one bad person, the pyro. No mafia.
 
PenguinPower you have yet to reveal your role. Char, me, and PF all revealed our roles.

I guess that's a good point although it's not really clear to me if the special roles are considered good or bad for the purposes of the tally. I mean, technically, as long as they're not mafia, they seem to count as good.

Plus there has to be at least one mafia or the game would be over.

Except for possibly the psychopath, the special characters are all morally ambiguous. And even the psychopath might be since he doesn't know who is or isn't mafia.

So if you're only going to have 2 categories, good and bad, my guess is that the special characters would have to be considered good.

If that's not true and the special characters are bad, then that means the game continues even w/o any mafia if any of the special characters remain.
 
I think the confusion is arising because of the wording of the prostitutes ability.

For purpose of the prostitute, choosing a MAFIA kills the protostitute, while a SPECIAL character does not.

However, for the tally each morning, the number is only counting Good Villagers, not SPECIAL or MAFIA.
 
I am quite on fire.

I jailed mafia, I guess he did not have a night action. I think the pyro has it if you screw up this daily vote.

Char or penguin is the pyro. 3 of us have said we are on fire, I have been jailing people since night 1.

Thanks Chiro. We should probably add a blurb to the rules about that for any new players.

Back to the game though . . . if neither PF nor mafia vote for someone, PF dies by default tonight at 9pm. If PF and mafia vote together for someone, then both PF and that person die. Since no one is changing my mind and I think the same probably goes for PP, we're just running down the clock at this point.

Why? You come into the thread claiming to be on fire after Char and I vote for you, with mafia's vote up in the air. Why must it not be you who is the pyro?

It's pretty easy to claim to be the jailer, but let me ask this. Why would you have jailed mafia twice in a row if the first time you jailed him people were still set on fire? Seems likely that you don't actually have the ability to jail people.
 
Voting for me or Penguin is stupid because if we're really on fire, we die at the end of today.

Since Penguin was the first to claim this and PF is coming to the flaming table a little late, the only logical choice is PF.
 
Whatever, I am done arguing. 2 of us will be burned. 2 will still be alive. Vote for each-other, both die... draw.

Sadly, I did not have sent msgs go to my sent folder so I would know who I tossed in jail. I just can't remember anymore.

Penguin, I jailed mafia because at the time there were 2 non goods left. I already jailed mafia and there were no shootings. I figured the safest thing to do was to keep mafia in jail and hope to nail the pyro.
 
So, that's a majority. Lynch up PF and the townies win it!

Looks like mafia will be the only townie left alive. Oh, the irony.
