I'm not a virgin, not ashamed of that fact, and I think the third question is silly.

I'm 37, and old enough to realize that not only is virginity really overrated, the whole concept of "losing it to the right person" is utterly stupid.

So what do you do to support yourself? Do you still live with one of your folks or you got your own place?

I still live with my mom and step-dad. But I got a job as a housekeeper at a hotel in my town. They pay for my food and I don't have to pay rent or anything. I may be going to college in September. Soon I will be receiving SSI (Supplementary Security Income) for visual impairment.

what happens if you wait til marriage and you find out that your spouse and yourself just are not compatible sexually? do you continue with a sexless marriage? just deal? :(
I am not knocking ANYONE or their choices, i am just wondering that.

Yes, I guess...I don't really understand the question. How could it be the wrong person? Virginity isn't anything special...it basically means you have little or no experience with women which is never a good thing.

Not everyone agrees with you.

Yes I am. I have been married for 6 years with a 3 year old, but I have never given it freely, and I don't think rape should count.

It takes more of a man to remain a virgin until marriage than one who does not because he has the maturity to control himself and his lusts

You don't know men very well, assuming your a women. A guy who waits untill marriage is either:

1. Very confused about his sexuality
2. Very shy
3. Born without sexual urges.
4. Lying about still being a virgin
5. His circumstances growing up kept him a virgin untill marriage. - very unlikely
6. Gay (I wouldn't consider intercourse between two men actual "intercourse")
7. Kept locked up his whole life and finally let out
8. Masturbating until marriage
9. Matured very slowly
10. An alien posing in human form

I know I missed some. The man you speak of exists only in movies and romance novels.

No, No, Yes.

Being that I'm married and have a 6 month old son...I'd probably be divorced if I were a virgin. ;)
