Edit: also I've just noticed they are protesting people who insult islam, not just protesting the lives of everyone. They are protesting against racists (I'll grant you a tad OTT) but none the less. That's fine.

At least I can shoot back, unlike in your country where you aren't allowed to carry anything to protect yourself from criminals, and even if you do fight back, self defense is probably illegal too.

I'm guessing the signs in the posted picture are from England. If that's the case, did you even read them? "Kill those who insult Islam," "Butcher those who mock Islam," "Behead those who insult Islam."

Just because someone mocks Islam doesn't make them racist. Hell, half this board has insulted Christians. That doesn't mean it's fine and dandy for Christians to go around rallying "kill those who mock Christianity."

Now that's a good point, I insult chrisianity on a regular basis, but I wouldn't consider myself a racist. :hmm:
