Technically right, but you've ignored a common and valid definition of the word for the sake of going on a rant.

/grammer snob

You'll have to find that definition for me.

I don't see much in the way of snobbery in this thread. Plenty of people proclaiming themselves to be complete assholes, but no snobs.

I'm a snob about value. It's weird, but I will mock you relentlessly if you paid full price for something or bought something that claims to be better than it actually is.

Somewhat along the same lines although I generally don't mock people about it. I never express this but it does bother me when it comes to gifts. I'd rather just get the dollar amount you were going to spend because I could likely get whatever gift you got me at a lower price

Also - apparently planes. That one hit home over the last two weeks. A friend asked me for some advice about getting to a destination and my response wasn't as much about airline to fly as aircraft\routing combos to book or avoid. A few days later a coworker and I were booking flights to the same conference from the same airport. He wanted to get in a little earlier and I refused because the earlier flight was a CRJ-200. When he asked why I said "Because I don't hate myself"

I'd say woman. If she ain't blonde with green eyes I'll just pass that shit right up. I know, terrible, right? I just have this major attraction to blonde woman. Very rarely do I take a second look at a woman who has light brown hair or something.

But yeah, woman would be my total "snob" thing. And she has to have the same political leanings as I do too. God help me if she's a Liberal and not Conservative. Ugh.

That's the kind of post which causes tears in the space-time continuum in Star Trek.

I'm a snob about many things, including whose posts I'll reply to with more than one sentence.
