I don't even have brand loyalty. I rather think it's funny when people do- be it Nvidia or iOS.

It's not so much loyalty to a brand for me, rather an expectation of quality. I know that Logitech makes a pretty good mouse and keyboard so I'll just naturally shop them when I need a new/another one.

Same with say...Klein tools. They make good stuff compared to some hunk of crap that China shits out of a factory. Also is nice that they are made local.

I know Redwing makes a good boot compared to some Walmart brand that paid some kid $.10 a day to make.

So while I am brand conscious, it's because I respect the product rather than the brand name.

I honestly don't give a fuck where it's made (assembled), because we all know the parts to make said thing came from Taiwan anyways.

same for me.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Zojirushi kitchen appliances, so they're often the first brand I look to when I'm in the market for something... but if their quality went down, I wouldn't think twice about branching out.

I'm swiss and I prefer swiss products if they're not pricier (extremely rare, it applies to watches only I guess, the rest of the stuff is almost never mostly swiss made).
After that, the priority goes to Europe and north africa because it's ecologically irresponsible to make your stuff cross the oceans if you have a choice, also I have some guarantees of safety with european products. Not so with american or asian stuff (I'm talking food).

I am occasionally nationalistic in my purchasing decisions, yes. You might even call it "partisan."

Depends on the goods. For most of the stuff I buy, cheapest wins so China, etc don't care.

But cars, luxury items, etc, I'll aim towards German, Japanese, USA etc.

I buy American as much as possible, with a few exceptions. I like German and Swiss knives, and same with optics, or just about anything engineering related. I also get culturally appropriate items from the homeland. For example, as much as I despise China, my Chinese chef knife, and wok are Chinese. I also buy imported food, but only from countries I trust. That breaks my homeland tendency in some cases. I don't get anything from China that goes on, or in my body.

It depends on what I buy. I used to have a lot of motivation to buy Belorussian textiles, but nowadays I do not as I want the state own industries to collapse.

Uh......Well,

I only buy hair products made for people of color. So yea, I guess I am a racially biased shopper. But that has a lot more to do with the fact that my hair type and texture and the average white person's hair type and texture are totally different.

I only buy products from Japanese companies made in the USA using imported German parts made in Mexico using raw materials from russia by way of china

When I can't find that, I buy the best or cheapest product without regard to where it was made.
