Havent been to it, but I really like some of the bands listed. Notably: New Order.

But it doesnt seem like a trance ensemble to me.

I'm a fan, but haven't been to this.. it this gonna be your first rave/party event? If so, no one can really describe what it will hopefully be like.
 
no...i have been to raves, and concerts...

i just wanted to know if anyone had been to this yet...it is supposed to be really different and unique.

Wow that looks really cool. BTW, if you would have checked the list of artists playing, then you'd know that it isn't all Trance music. For example, Outkast and the Roots are both hiphop. 🙂

The Roots are sweet! Paul Okenfeld is cool too. He did a pretty cool job with the Swordfish soundtrack. I have to say, that is a concert I'd love to go to.
 
its aug 5th and i'm going to try my best to go.....but who wants to go with me? all my friends are not in town and besides they dont like trance as much as I do 🙁

That mekka tour sounds pretty dope as well.

I'm going to the Chicago Area One festival. I also plan on going to Mekka, which looks even better IMO. Mekka has BT, and crystal method!!! Live!!
 
i am also going to area1 in chicago. really looking forward to it. traveling down from madison. dj dan is playing this thursday in chicago if anyone is interested.

Yeah, Area: One this Saturday, and Mekka 8/4, go DETROIT! We have a huge lineup for Mekka, although Miami's is more trance......they tried appealing to the D Techno anal-retentive crowd.

But by all means, if you can go to one of those shows, GO! Mekka's 18+ tho, btw, and 35-50 a ticket.
