We all know someone who's a die hard fan, or whatever you want to call them, of something. Be it a company like Apple or Microsoft or something more specific like a comic book character like Superman or even a brand of clothing or automobile, anything's game for this thread really so long as you anticipate with bated breath every new release, product or issue. This doesn't necessarily mean that you are the fan boys we love to hate who can find no wrong with the entity in question and defend to your death everything and everything about it. In fact you could have a lot of objectionable things to say. It just means that you really love most things about them and like I mentioned eagerly anticipate every new release.
Personally I'm going to say for me I'm a die hard fan of the following:
-Nintendo's big franchises (Mario and Zelda)
-Scientific American (I could/should probably read something more technical like the journal Nature but I've been a subscriber for several years and still enjoy every issue)
-Turn based RPGs in general, both JRPGs and others, especially old school types.
-Nintendo DS games (strangely I've come to really love the system and many of its games, some very good rpgs and platformers on it).
NOTE: You can be a little vague if you want but let's at least narrow it down to a certain genre or type. Just posting Music or Books, isn't quite what I'm looking for here.
