I lived in DFW most of my life (save and except a few months at Ft. Benning, GA), so I guess Im a city slicker. And while the thought of being a hood rat does seem appealing, I think one day Ill be a country bumpkin. :)
I'm a big city boy.

i'm a bit of all three, born and raised in a small town, moved to the suburbs at 10 and have lived in a few "hoods" since.

Done all three. Grew up country. Have lived in big cities. Have lived in places where gunshots and gang signs are daily occurances. Currently live in the "country".

I find myself slowly wanting to move back into the city again. I find that as the older I get the less I associate myself with the country lifestyle/pastimes/activities.

Once my kids get a little bit older and the value of having a huge yard, safe neighborhood to ride bikes in, ect are less of a need we may pack up and move back into a larger city.

farm girl when I was younger. Lived in NYC for a long time. Now I'm a Real Housewife of New Jersey.

For what it's worth.

I have lots of allergies so I hated living on the farm, except it was home (lot to be said for that) NYC was interesting. NJ is way better than most people think.

I'm adapted to small cities. I can handle myself in bigger cities anyway, if massive noise and pollution are removed. It's not like here it's totally silent, it's 1 am and I can hear an helicopter, but traffic is low at night.

I don't know where I fall. Work in the city, live in burbs and play in the country.

I grew up in a small town. Country as you can get. Then we moved to the city where I was for sure a ghetto child. Now I live in the burbs and am perfectly happy.

So I guess I'm a mutt.

Raised in a rural area not far from a medium sized metropolitan area. Have lived in big cities (Philly, Fort Lauderdale, Miami). There are positives all around, but overall I prefer a more rural area - I really like my space.

Raging suburbanite, the further away from the masses the better.

I continue to work, so that the more money I get, the more land I can own thats further away from everyone else.

But still want to be able to get groceries without driving more than 20 minutes.

City Bumpkin/Country Slicker combo.
I want a migratory lifestyle where I live in a southern city in the colder months and a midwestern farm in the summer.

Born in the city. From 7-17 a farm boy. 17-present back in the city, in some very "hood rat" areas for the first few years.

So all of the above...
