Are XP 2400+ both 1.93 and 2.0 GHz? geeze...

No, I don't always read the fine details, but I just noticed the Thoroughbred .13 micron is running at 1.93GHz and the Palomino .18 micron runs at 2.0 GHz?

That's how they are advertising at PW anyway...

I'm not sure if I like that or not. Why didn't AMD just clock the newer Thoroughbred at 2.0GHz also! :|

There are a lot of vendors at PW advertising them at 1.93GHz is what made me bring this up. Not just one, but MANY. Go search.

Well, I guess those vendors over at PW need to get a clue...

This pretty much confirms there infomation is wrong.

Just beware any of you looking to buy one, they are NOT 1.93GHz... if they are, don't buy it. 😉

Only thing I can think of is that AMD did actually change their PR ratings for the 333mhz bus chips starting with 2600+ and above. The 333mhz bus chips are actually running at a lower clock than the 266mhz, which is 66mhz less, so that makes sense. Its odd though as I don't recall any plans for a 333mhz XP2400+.

Ya know, I just noticed that myself....

The 333FSB chip runs 50MHz slower (2.083) than the 266FSB(2.133)...

HAHA... how funny. Them butt heads!
