Actually, that's a really good idea. Her ignorance is most likely due to lack of practical experience. I'm sure if she had to mow the lawn with that thing, she would start looking at it differently.
 
That we need something with a little more oomph - like something along the lines of 5-6hp and possibly self propelled, and 24" if you can find it.
