I bought a wireless mouse about a year ago and there was a huge delay from the time I moved the mouse until I saw movement on the screen. I am now curious how far they have come along with this technology, as I am interested in a wireless keyboard and mabye a wireless mouse. I would like to hear what your expierences have been with wireless products and any recommendations you have if someone was looking to purchase one. Thanks.

The Logitech MX-1000 is meant to be an awesome wireless mouse. No noticable lag, logitech precision, and it uses a laser instead of a red LED like most optical mice.

How is the "laser" better than the "LED"? Better precision? resonse time improvement?

better strengh of light source=better tracking=better precision.
works on every surface but overly reflective surfaces like mirrors and transparent surfaces like glass.

as for response time improvement, it'sreally jsut how many times per second the mouse transmits data. The MX1000 is jsut as good as a wireles mouse gets..

My MX-1000 Logitech mouse only needs to be recharged 1 time a week. If I'm gaming, maybe 2-3 times a week at most, but if thats a concern, leave it on the charging stand every time your done using it.

Also, it has an 3 bar LED to show battery life, so its not like you would be surprised with a weak charge.

I've been using a Logitech MX-1000 for 6 months now. It works excellent and has to be recharged once every 10 days like clockwork. Recharging is very fast (which is good when your mouse dies while in the middle of a big battle in Rome:TW!). I've read that it's up to 20x more accurate than a wired optical! It's easily as good as my ball mouse for sniping.
