Unless your life goal is to be know as "Crazy Cat Lady" and this is just the start of a lifelong trend.:)

I say spoil them rotten - why else would you get one.

Proud owner of 3 cats.

I'd say it doesn't really matter. In the end, the cat is going to end up owning you.....at least that's how it is with our two. :)

So true. Animals are the greatest manipulators of humans.

Yup. They know exactly when it's time to be fed. Then they'll start bugging you about it 3hrs in advance, just to make sure you don't forget.

I guess it is nice to have a cat that likes being held. My cats have historically only tolerated being held. After about 10 seconds, they start to get twitchy, and if it goes on much longer, claws start coming out. But as soon as you put them down, they get all friendly, like they were never pissed off at all.

i'd say so. cats need exercise!

She's very tiny and seems to just love being held and snuggled:)

in that case, put the kitten in your shirt and take a pic and submit it to CuteOverload's Cats n Racks section

I never knew there was such a thing as said named website. As much as I detest cats, a webpage like that deserves a . Boobies +10!

It's cool. Kittens still like/need that motherly love.
Once she/he is a full grown cat you won't be doing that anymore.

ok, this cat Is either in my lap, riding in my pocket or riding in the hood of my sweatshirt.
I swear this animal rides in my hood like an infant being carried in a sling. Lol, I'm an animal magnet :D

In my experience the more attention you pay to cats when they are young, the more they pay to you when they get older. The cats we used to have we would just put them outside as soon as they were old enough and we rarely saw them. Later on when we got new kittens we started keeping them inside and paying a lot of attention to them. Now, whether they want to admit it or not, they need us. They look so nonchalant sitting in the recliners in the living room, but if we get up and leave the room they will follow us and find a new comfy place to sleep wherever we go.

Nice Kitten.:)

But...I had a Russian Blue I named "Smokey" when I got him. Couple of years later I was like "duh, that's like naming a white cat "snowball" or a black cat "midnight"."

Ended up calling him "Snarf".
