Are we not allowed alternative views on 9/11

Are we not allowed alternative views on 9/11 or are we not permitted to talk about it at all? I can follow the rules on anandtech as i have been doing for years but if there are unwritten rules i need to know what they are.
I tried opening the thread in OT but it was closed and i was told it needed to go in P&N. Now the P&N thread is locked?
Exactly why was this thread closed? It would be nice to know so that i can prevent making this mistake in the future.

Alternate views != tinfoil

Because our Moderator pay is based on stock dividends from Alcoa; we can not allow conflict of interest here.

Accusing our own government and people of planning/implimenting such an incident is not tolerated. That does disrespect to those that have died on 9/11.

If you can present arguments that have not been debunked by Debunking 9/11 Myths: Why Conspiracy Theories Can't Stand Up to the Facts, I and many others would certainly stand by your side and help you get your views heard.

However, 90% of what you stated in your thread has been thoroughly debunked - frankly, you're wasting everyone's time.

You might also want to know that there's nothing more delicious to media outlets than outing the government on conspiracies and secrets. Yet while the media can manage to get inside ultra-secret overseas CIA interrogation chambers, they can't unearth a single person culpable for 9/11? You're not dealing in reality if you believe this.

It is the modern incarnation of superstitious mumbo-jumbo. Aliens at Roswell and Area 51, the 2nd shooter behind the grassy knoll, the CIA puts cocaine in Coca-Cola in order to addict the world, the Illuminati bloodlines of shapeshifting lizard people ruling the world, etc. It is all primitive superstitious nonsense. And as unscientific as young earth creationism.

I don't think the government would have deliberately let this happen. They had an inkling
about it, but not enough proof and they failed to see the terrorists registered at flight schools
which in itself should have been a red flag and not been allowed to occur. Then again, it happened
in WW2 as well. We had good info an attack on Pearl Harbor was likely and President Roosevelt
let it occur as an excuse for the US to enter the war. Had we not got involved in WW2 there is a
very good chance Germany would have been the overall Victor.
