Denser. I heard something on the radio about an interview where the band was asked this question.

PS. I actually like the song :D

Link to the song on YouTube or something please? I'm too lazy to search for what you're talking about. And besides, it's your duty as the OP to provide all tools necessary.

It's dancer. The band cleared it up as inspired by a quote from Hunter S. Thompson, who once observed that America was ?raising a generation of dancers.?

proof?

dancer makes no sense in the context of the chorus.

we = plural
dancer = singular

I kinda like the song, but it doesn't make a lot of sense. Yet it has a Longing/Spiritual/Philosophical kinda aura about it. On the whole, it seems like a Foreign Band with English as a second language trying to communicate in English, but kinda lacking the nuances of the language and/or sounding cheezy. I still like the song though. :p:laugh:

It is dancer according to my research. Although, I feel dancers would make more sense. That song is annoying as hell. I think I even posted a needless thread about it. :)

It's not so much that the song is bad as that it gets WAY OVERPLAYED!

Somebody Told Me was overplayed as well, but it never got as old.
