Are we ever gonna get Final Fantasy VI in 3D?

so far all the 3D remakes have been the same, although a little enhanced.

FFIV on the 3DS was a teeny bit harder, BUT they also added an augment system to compensate for that.
If you like you can completely ignore the system and play the game normally.


FFIII was pretty much the same only with a few tweaks. Like now you can change classes without throwing away your points.
(But its better on Windows than on Android.)
 
III and IV DS 3D remakes were excellent.

VI in the same spirit world be amazing though it's 2D pixel art is vastly superior to previous versions, to the point 3D on 3DS would probably degrade it.

Yeah, don't screw with that. They should just port it (or run it in a proprietary emu), have the display scale with a simple aspect-ratio-maintaining nearest neighbor, or an HQ-type upscale, at worst (none of this fuzzy texture-mapping crap we keep seeing), and make the palettes true to the originals (one of the few negatives of the GBA ports). While some of the DS remakes were OK, i's almost like colorization, in that a lot of (in this case all) the aesthetic character of the original ends up lost.

They got tired of wearing out peoples buttons getting through that unbearable text, I'm surprised at all the praise 7 gets, 3-6 I get but 7 was just a click n' read.
 
It is actually kind of suprising that 6 hasn't gotten the treatment 3 and 4 have. Then there is 5, which is the unwanted step child. I never have played all the way through that.

Agreed its mostly nostalgia. With that said a remade FF7 is about the only chance I buy a PS4.
