In the UK 3050/6500XT has either held stable or gone down in the last week, 2060 has gone down 6/12GB both.. 3060/6600 & up have mostly gone up by 5-15% in the same timeframe.

Yes! It was partly because we were kids but the games were still fun.

I've recently discovered Dos Box ( instead of using W7 with an XP emulator) to play Worms from 1995. It is still fun to play, after the shock of the terrible graphics wears off...

GL QUAKE was the first huge jump in graphics quality. I was blown away with how much better the graphics were and how much smoother GL QUAKE was but it wasn't more fun. The only sound your guy makes is "huh" when he jumps. Older 2.5D games like Shadow Warrior or Duke Nukem 3D were more fun. Your character said funny stuff, not just "huh".

That's asking prices, not sales prices. Marketplaces tend to end up with a lot of bad listings, because good listings sell quickly, while bad listings rarely sell. That's just as true for GPU markets as for meat markets (Tinder).

In a market where prices go down, you get more bad listings.

Newegg's video card and crappy power supply bundles jacked up over MSRP are not really a "Hot Deal", though.

Well... maybe they are if you're desperate to expand your fledgling crypto mining operation. Most of us here will take a hard pass on them, though. The big crypto players also aren't going to waste their time with that junk, as they buy their cards in bulk from the manufacturer.

Not sure what you're complaining about. Most of the video card deals that I've been posting that last few weeks have been standalone deals, without bundles. You should visit that forum more frequently, you seem a little out of touch.

During the height of the GPU tsunami, I predict 3080's around $300 and anything below will be about as valuable as a door stop. I hope every gamer buys a used card for super cheap and calls it good enough so Nvidia sees almost no sales for the overpriced 4000 series.
If I had the power to allow or deny sales of 4000 series cards, I'd force the following prices or I'd deny the entire generation market access.
