Are u embrassed about the music on your Ipod?

A friend of mine picked up my Ipod and listened to it. There was a lot of asian music (oldies kind of asian stuff), and she began laughing. Embrassing as heck.

On another note, if you have an Ipod and use Windows XP, it seems to work better on firewire vs usb 2.0 (which times out for some reason on my Dell). Firewire uploaded 6 gigs quickly.

I was at a bus stop with a friend, along with 20 other people waiting for the bus. Two brown chicks pull up in a Corolla and the minute the door opens, the entire street fills up with Punjabi music

Yeah that was pretty bad
 
I'm not embarassed about my music tastes.

However, it seems like everytime someone looks through my iPod,I get these weird looks for having the Village People, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, BSB, Spice Girls, and kpop stored in my iPod.

If I were a NY cop and saw that kind of music on your iPod, I'd grab it, throw it on the ground and smash it into little pieces.
 
I have kelly clarkson music on my cellphone, I have friends look through my playlist and either they didn't find it yet or don't care. 😱
 
People who have seen my MP3 stash on the laptop or heard my car stereo often give me strange looks. Never once have I met anyone in person that's even HEARD OF 90% of my collection. There's a distinctly european slant to it. A decent portion isn't even in English. But I'm not embarassed. I just take it as a sign that they like sh!tty music.
