26/30 in ~5 minutes. I've seen most of them before. Do enough of these things, and you'll learn everything to look for.

<< i'd say that a high score on a test suggests that you are good at taking tests, rather than being a genius. >>

agreed. I've found that I have pretty good test taking ability, I was half-drunk half-hungover when I took my SAT's my sophomore year in high school, hadn't slept in like 36 hours, etc. and I still did okay, got a 1360. I also passed the two CCNP certification tests I took without being prepared really at all, got 850+ on them

23/30 in 24 minutes

I think if I'd have used paper I probably would have gotten one or two more. Buy I didn't know if you were supposed to. Plus it's late.

25/30, but I didn't even bother with most of the word ones, since they take longer, and I'm supposed to be studying.

21/30 but it I didn't use all 30 min. I didn't like the questions like "what word does this scramble of letters make? : F W L V I S A O N U P Q Z V" or whatever

Hmm.... 24/30 in about 20 minutes. 14/30 in about 1 minute (mostly randomly guessing). So does that mean I'd get 36/30 or 420/30 if I used all 30 minutes?

Unscramble this you MENSA geeks: 3M TA3 :p

:) I got 25/30.

6) I can't believe I left out the 70's. (DUH)

7) Got it right but didn't think about syllables. :D I thought it had to do with the number of vowels in the name (x 5). Assuming "Y" is a vowel under certian enunciation rules. Anybody else remember "A, E, I, O, U and sometimes Y" from elementary school?

13) :) Didn't want to take the time to go through a really long list of words in my head and it didn't come to me right away.

15) I *HATE* unscrambling letters. :D

16) Same as 13.

19) Same as 15.

23) Got it right, but didn't think about pets. Elk just seemed to make sense...

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my score. But I agree with those who think it's more about taking tests than intelligence. I've always been an excellent test taker [SAT's - 1490 (E 730, M 760). SAT II's - 730 Writing, 800 Math IIC, 740 Physics. Pretty darn respectable scores for not studying.]...

Then again, I've always been pretty intelligent, too. :D lol

Sorry about the SAT score quotes; I couldn't really resist the opportunity to brag... Well, that and the fact that I didn't want to resist it. ;)
