I have seen some instances where it has been possible for people to control devices merely by thought thru a headphone like gadget.

Is this the future of computing?

Based on your psychopath posting history I sure hope not - that will be one abused computer.

That's just my opinion of course.

MAYBE with voice control

But NEVER on it's own

Remember, computer are worthless without programming. You can't really program a computer to think.

I sure hope so. Damn archaic keyboard and mice.
Damn lousy physical coordination and repetitive strain injury. :\
This Evoluent VerticalMouse at least keeps my wrist from aching, but my accuracy with it is just awful.

To an extent, yes, absolutely. Eventually we'll laugh at how our ancestors had to use keyboards to type.

For awhile. But ultimately the future will be thought controlling computers.

The ultimate future will be computers planted into each person's brain.

You'd effectively have real-world telepathy between people, instant control of machinery, and an end to the ridiculous self-cycling wheel of bullshit that people continue to do in terms of making the same mistakes over and over every single generation from several thousand years ago until the present.
