Are those 'weeping' Jesus pictures for real?

I've never seen one for myself, but I remember seeing them on TV shows often a while back. Pictures and sometimes statues of Jesus that would actually cry tears, and sometimes even blood. I would always wonder if this was some kind of prank or was this actually happening? You'd think if something as unexplained as this was really happening the media and scientists would be over it. Anyone know anything about this? And if it is fake... why bother doing it?
 
I had a cornflake that looked like the young Elvis in my cereal this morning, but I don't beleive all the "weeping statue" reports. Then again anything is possible. 🙂

I really don't know if they're real or fake. But to me it seems fake, b/c if it was real it would be considered a "miracle". And i think it would be a BIG thing on the news media. But i have no clue.
