There's nothing wrong with wanting to look beautiful (or handsome) at age 50; the problem arises when someone places their beauty above all other things.

I think that's the purpose of the extreme makeover in a sense.

Still doesn't make it any easier when you realize that most guys you run across are evaluating you and saying in their minds the type of mean things they say aloud on AT.
 
It's impressive how much they can change... It's sort of like someone telling me about his CPU overclocking to 4ghz or something...

Women do the same things. I've heard things just as nasty and degrading come from them as from any of my male friends.

Those of you that dis' it, you have no right to judge because you haven't walked in their shoes.

Its very difficult to be 'ugly' in this society, and those of you who are saying its ridiculous are the same ones that scorn ugly pics posted here.

I'm happy for them.

agreed. women are worse, they just keep it between the womens and dont talk about it in front of males.

to a guy women either look good, or they dont (of course, there is degrees of good). if they dont, we dont go around thinking "mean" about how ugly or bad they look.

dont take the replies in ATOT as the gospel on how men think.

more power to them if thats what they want.

id like to see the before pics when the were just as "done up" as they are in the after. thats the only way to get a true comparison. every one looks like shat in a mug shot with no makeup, no hair style, bad lighting, and a totally slack face.
