Are these temps correct?

Yeah, in the BIOS, the temps read 51 C. That seems fine. I just downloaded Motherboard Monitor 5 and it says the temps are 127 C CPU and 16 C Case. Is this really high? When I first saw it I freaked out. But it's been running for almost 3 years. So is anything wrong with it? Is this normal?

Well MBM5 doesnt support your mobo, or you set it up wrong because 127C is not even possible. it would die.
maybe you meant 127F which would be accurate at 52C ..so im sure u meant F
52C is ok for that chip i believe my 2800+ loads at 52C although...

but before it had tons of dust and a thermal pad running stock it hit 68C during prime so i cleaned it out and put on some thermal paste which lowered to a load of 52C

TTBOMK, most of the XP 1800's will run at a fairly cool cpu temp with even the stock retail HSF. The programmer for the MBM5 monitoring software didn't get every legacy motherboard added to his data base. Look for AIDA 32 or Everest Home. Both of those will show the temps, just not in the task bar's tray. Speedfan also works pretty well, and is easy enough to reset for a different tray display.

That's one that claims to offer control for fan speeds for most system fans. Be very careful with that part.
