Are these speakers any good (Compaq PS-330)?

I am wondering how they compare to the BA4800 speakers. I am thinking of getting two sets of these speakers (Compaq PS-330 Premier Sound Professional Speaker System with Subwoofer) to use for 4.2 sound, but I am unsure of how to hook them up to my SoundBlaster Live value card. The sub ROCKS. I got in on the Insight.com clearance last month at ~$40 shipped. The speakers SUCK. I use them in concert with a pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers. Unfortunately, the crossover is in the speakers, not the sub. Since my receiver doesn't have a sub output, I left the sub connected to the compaq speakers and pointed them at the wall away from me for "effects." How much are you getting these for?
