Are these parts compatable?

Can you guys look over the parts I'm about to order to check that everything's compatable?

I think everything's fine, but before I put the order through I wanted to run it by some folks with a little more know how. It'd suck to order all that and have to wait around on a replacement part.

PSU have all the right connectors (PCIE)? Hard drive and CPU compatable with the mobo?

fixed link

i hope.

Yes, it's all compatible.

I use that particular motherboard and a different PSU (Enermax 535W). My friend uses the same motherboard with THAT PSU, both work fine.

CPU is compatible, but you'll need the latest BIOS from DFI to get good results.

Graphics card and hard drives are fine.

Yup, everything works, 🙂, awesome system by the way 😀

Yes it is all compatible. However you could save some money by going with a non-SLI mobo. I would definitely get the 7800GT. The OCZ PSU you chose is a great PSU however it may be a bit loud compared to something like a Seasonic S12-600. You could also get the Lian-Li that has a 120mm fan in the front. I don't know the model number.

The extra cache the 4400+ has does not always help performance. So you could even bump down to a 3800+ since it seems like you are overclocking. You could get cheaper RAM too. In real-world performance there will be little difference between value RAM and that stuff. I would suggest some cheap crucial sticks as they still OC well for a reasonable price.

I would also suggest the Hitachi 7K250 HDD.

Downgrade to a DFI Ultra-D if you aren't going SLI.

Change your power supply to a Seasonic 500w or 600w 😀 (powerstream failed stress test)

Um,yeah.
