Are these good speakers for under $50??

For $50, these are awesome speakers. I've heard the bass is really good, and they're a sample of what the Z-560s sound like. However, I think it would be more worth it if you get the Creative Lab 4400 4.1 speakers from Newegg. They're $58 shipped, so that's a little more than the Logitech speakers, but you get 4.1 instead of 2.1. Hope this helps.

I have a pair on my server that is in my bedroom. I got them due to being low on $$$ at the time and they sounded so good in the store compaired to anything there anywhere near the price. I have been using them now for a month and they are the best $50 COMPUTER speakers I have ever used. Very suprising Bass, Very deep. Clean highs and not bad Mids. For $50 I am totally impressed. Plenty loud for most people. I plan on getting the Z560s later on for my main system. If you are low on $$$ these simply sound great.

I have the Z540's, which appear to be the 4.1 version of this setup, and they are good speakers. $70 for the 540's at Eb..might be another option to consider.

I forgot to mention the Z540's as they are the same as the 340's but are 4.1 and the price is still pretty low but not $50. They sould just like the 340's but of course 4.1 sound.
