These are my benchmarks in Unreal 2003 using the benchmark.exe program:

Flymatch: 31.032305
Botmatch: 20.298717

Resolution: 1024X768

Are these benchmarks ok for my system (the specs are in my signature). I'm just asking because the benchmarks posted on this form are much higher than mine (although the problem might be my video card).

EDIT:

Here are my benchmarks at 640X480, where there is less stress on the video card:

Flymatch: 60.380547
Botmatch: 35.561268

Resolution: 640X480

Yep, the problem is definately your Video Card!

If you grab a Ti4200 for about 120 or you will about triple your performance in that game.. .

Even a $90.00 Radeon 8500 will double and almost triple your performance also!

Give your P4 some help ;)

Good Luck.

Bryan.

Even for a GTS-V those scores are definitely abnormally low.

Thats what i thought about the scores. Can anyone suggest why they are so low. I'm not using FSAA and antroscopic filtering. I have no idea was the performance is so low:(

Those scores don't seem completely out of line.

That GF2 is hurting though. You could definately use a video card upgrade.

If you aren't already, try running in software 3d sound instead of hardware. It made about a 20FPS difference for me.

Well, i think that the drivers were bringing me down. Here are my benches with the new 30.xx drivers:

30.28

Flymatch: 41.601616
Botmatch: 24.801680

Resolution: 1024X768

Flymatch: 85.511009
Botmatch: 36.541897

Resolution: 640X480

Here's another set of drivers that came w/ my HP computer(don't know which version):

HP Nvidia

Flymatch: 38.292714
Botmatch: 25.556705

Resolution: 1024X768

Flymatch: 75.258583
Botmatch: 37.038097

Resolution: 640X480

Whats wierd to me is that the botmatch scores are lower w/ the new drivers.

Have you tried overclocking your cpu and vid card? You could probably pull down another 10fps to take it to a more playable level with overclocking the machine.

The computer is the family computer and I don't want to anything to wreck it, thats why i can't overclock it.
