Are these 120mm fans actually good?

Never trust fan specs from Thermaltake. If you want the most accurate fan specs, check out Nexus fans. They are usually the same price everywhere.

Anything Panaflo or Sunon rocks. Panaflo has some that is soft but provides sufficient amount of air flow 🙂

I've used Sunon and Panaflo. I prefer CoolerMaster for LED and Delta Triple Blades for standard fans. Can't complain about Panaflo's, but I was so happy when I got the Sunon fans replaced. Having so many of those things in my case was so loud.

I've been hung up on Mechatronics fans lately. Just picked up some 120's

I too will jump on the ThermalTake flame wagon...Their fans suck.

Sanyo Denki makes some really nice fans...Hard to find but worth the hassle.

Pansonic Panaflo's are kick arse fans also.

As are the Yate Loon's.

But for my money I try to chase down Sanyo Denki's...Especially for mission critical applications like CPU heat sink fans.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of anything ThermalTake makes.

In my humble opinion of course !!!!!
