Are there many Q4 online multiplayer servers?

I play the multiplayer demo alot, and it's a lot of fun, but I only find a couple servers every time I hop in. And the servers are usually from europe or somewhere laggy. So is that just the demo? Does the full version have a lot of players? I am asking because I don't wanna end up with a singleplayer only game when I buy it.

I think people left this type of MP gaming behind a few years ago. Too many games and a limited number of plays = very few servers for most games. I'd guess BF and CS series are 85% of the server online.
