Are there HIPS Only Programs?

I have allowed my Sunbelt Personal Firewall suscription to run out because the amount of BSOD's I have experienced in a year's time regardless of the version and Tech Help was just too much. So right now I am running this firewall in free version mode minus HIPS and filtering options.

I heard good things about Sunbelt's latest version but I am extremely leary of sending them more money.

I would like to know if there is a stand-alone HIPS solution(s) that work well with anti-virus and anti-spyware software and if so what do you recommend.

Yes, there are. A ton of them actually (many free), but they are mostly niche products used by the more knowledgable and paranoid group.
