Ok I have my computer connected to my 2405FPW through the DVI port. I also have a Viewsonic NextVision 5 box that I want to hookup to the VGA port on the 2405FPW. Now the VGA out port on the NextVision 5 is a female port and the VGA in on the 2405FPW is also a Female port. What kind of cable would I use to connect these two?

The NextVision came with a cable, but it is Male on one end and Female on the other.

...it came with only an extension cable?

Regular VGA cables are male on both ends; the ports are all female. Male->female cables are only used as extenders. Any 'normal' VGA cable will be male->male.

that makes it even wierder, although you are supposed to hook up your monitor into the output and the video card into the input, so I guess it does make sense. I just am not connecting the vid card to it.
