The japanese even have a sub class they call Yankie.

Basically its an american wannabe label they give to teens who are kinda miscreant.

I can also think of plenty of ghetto koreans, and very high rich koreans, with more money then they could spend in several lifetimes.

LOL my mentor is jewish.
And he told me a funny story he heard...

When a company notices its goofed how do the asian companies handle it?

Japanese:
If there is a goof, they imediate find the goof. Then the head whose in charge of where the goof occured will take all blame, and quit the work force taking with him the dishonor.

Koreans:
If there is a goof, they imediate start pointing fingers at each other instead of fixing the goof. Koreans need to find blame in someone besides themself, so they are fast to butcher each other. SO the blame will go on until someone gets unlucky and gets pointed to take all the blame.
In Korea if you file bankruptcy, You goto Jail... there is no sorry i cant pay you back, its GOTO JAIL, do not collect 200 dollars.

Chinese:
If there is a goof, they ALWAYS SAY ITS THE CUSTOMERS FAULT. ITS NEVER THE CHINESE FAULT ITS ALWAYS THE CUSTOMER FAULTS.
Then they will use a language barrier to say they dont understand and say once again ITS THE CUSTOMERS FAULT.

Americans:
IF there is a goof, ALL THE HEADS ARE QUIET... they monitor the goof, but don't fix it. Why? BEcause they want to see how far they can go with the goof b4 it blows over. then the guy responsible gets fired... and a new guy comes in to REPEAT the model, while NOT getting caught.

LOL... i thought about it,, and my mentor is a pretty smart jew...

I asked him how the jews handle business:
He said:

A problem is not a problem if it can be solved with money...

ROFL....

Yes. There is the class that does better than your kid on standardized tests. The class that does far better than your kid on standardized tests. The class that does so good on standardized tests your kid looks like a moron.
And the class that does so well on standardized tests they actually get into a good university.

Oh, you mean the class that has hardly any social skills at all? And the class that can barely function in a group that isn't consisting of their asian peers? And the other class that can kind of function in a social setting just like a low level autistic child?

A stupid reply deserves a stupid reply.

No, Chinese and Koreans are descendants of Mongolians.

no... chinese is and always was the chinese.

Japan has history of chinese going away to an island and making it the country of japan.

Koreans, have both ancestry in mongols, and chinese.

The chinese were NEVER mongols, if they were, why the hell did they build that great big wall to keep the mongols out?

I have some Malaysian (ethnically Indian, but born in Malaysia) friends and the stereotype there is among Malays and Thais, many of the girls wind up in prostitution, strippers or in some kind of sex industry. Not that I necessarily believe the stereotype, but if the OP is asking...

Also, I visited Singapore and Malaysia and while I was there I wanted to visit Bangkok, Thailand. I was advised that if I cared about my status and reputation among my friends and their families, I should never mention Thailand or that i was thinking about visiting there. I assured them that I wanted to visit for cultural reasons and I am a fan of muay thai martial arts and have always wanted to visit Thailand. Regardless, it seems that many of the "dirty ppl" including men who frequent prostitutes, take weekend trips to Thailand, kind of like a sex vacation. They explained to me that nobody would beleive me and I would get a bad reputation. Nobody would accompany me to Thailand and I had to forget about those plans...

Just to be silly with fuel to the fire...

Usually oriental women aren't my type but:

Some Japanese girls = hot.
A little less Korean girls = hot.
Not to many Chinese girls = hot.
Couple vietnamese girls = hot.

The rest = meh.

Mainly that's because I don't like short, flat, super skinny women with flat and round moon faces.

As to how this has anything to do with the discussion about oriental "classes" amongst the oriental nations, I think a very good in depth study into the hotness of their women is a good place to start as any.

To put in a side note, my views have been based on what orientals I've met. Which there were quite a few there when I was living in Hawaii for several years.

dude classes between asians?

Theres even sub classes inside each asian class.

For example..

If you call my tiwanese friend chinese... he will straight up take offense to it.

Asians are very stereotypical, its in our blood, and a majority of us are also raciest...

pretty much. the "class" mentality in asian cultures (Chinese at least but I think it's the same for other east asian cultures) is insane. back when PRC was poor, people from mainland china were seriously looked down upon by people from Hong Kong/Taiwan. now it's different of course, but the division is still there.

@ OP - As you can tell, I'm the original poster of those comments.

Let me see if I can help with what other's haven't already said.

If one is going to lump many groups of people together, such as "Asian," one needs to remember that the term "Asian" is an euro-centrically derived term for people around a specific location. This includes people from like Kazjasghasditsan, India, Japan, down to islands like Laos and what not. If you ask me, the Uydrs? and other crazy people, decendants of Alexander the great, in western China, are more like white people that middle easterners or "yellow" asians, the asians most people think of when they hear the term.

As others have said too, all people of all races look down on each other. All the chinamen look down on (thank the WWs for their atrocities) japs, and the reverse is true as well. It doesn't matter what race/ethnicity you compare, everyone thinks they're better than everyone else, regardless of what they look like or where they're geographically located. I'm sure all the Africans look down on each other and the Europeans look down on each other.

For an actual "caste" system, you might want to rephrase your question or full udnerstand what you're asking. As others have mentioned, Indians have/had? a caste system, and I'm sure plenty of others have/had them as well. I'm no expert in this. However, with the definition of "Asian" in mind, the question you're asking is equivalent to " Do all the whiteys in europe have a ranking where one race is superior to the other? like dutch > germans > uk > everyone else?" It's pretty crude.

And finally... Like another poster said, the Vietnamese that arrived before Vietnam war were much more likely to be well off, educated and upper class. While a lot of ethnic Chinese Vietnamese (ethnic Chinese that had been livign in vietnam for 1-2-3 generations, the middle/upper class business people) lost everything and fled as refugees, understandably, many refugees from the other south eastern nations like laos and cambodia were always pretty poor. The Hmong, a people that don't even have their own country, now that sucks for them. Sucks to be persecuted.

RE: Koreans, I don't know if they used to be considered ghetto, but I grew up where Asians were Chinese, Indians, and Koreans. All were affluent and most were decent people. Little drugs, no fighting, no gangs. 3/4 of the parents of my Korean friends owned some sort of business, often a dry cleaner and/orlaundromat. (No seriously, that stereotype is true). These upper middle class ones are Christian and beat their kids to study, pretty similiar to the non ghetto Chinese.

Since there are so !#$ing many Chinese, it's hard to lump them all together. I'd think most are educated, upper middle class professionals, but there are ghetto ass mofos too.

is there an unspoken caste system amongst the asians where one ethnicity is generally considered superior than the other?
if so, how goes the ranking?

Yes.

Wealth, education, age, skin tone, and height.

IMHO, most uneducated Asians feels that their country/race are superior over that of other Asian, however most highly educated Asian do not have the same superior/inferior insecurity.

Caucasian certainly have ethnic problem of their own, however it doesn't excuse Asian of looking down on others and gaijin, or laowai.

Not all Asians have flat round moon face. Certainly a large portion of Chinese/Japanese/Korean does, but to lump all Asians into one category is somewhat narrow minded.

I have been to many Asian countries and IMHO every Asian country have hot looking women as well as not so hot.

So you do like pale, hairy horse face Caucasoids?

How about flat nosed, big lipped and black bodilicious Negroids?

You're an idiot, because all races exhibit all different kinds of facial features.

northern chinese are. to say 'chinese' is a gross mischaracterization.

China is such a large place with such a wide variety of distinct ethnic groups and communities, that to blanket China is just ignorant.

Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, Samsung, LG, Sony...

Wanna name Chinese which rank = to those companies i listed above?

to be fair, korean companies and products were synonymous for shit until very recently.
hyundai was the butt of all jokes in the 80s and 90s.
samsung and LG were not on anyones radar until the last 5 years.

same could be said for japanese companies, except you have to go back a few more decades.

i don't think this is an accurate gauge for superiority.

I'm an idiot for having a preference in women I find attractive? Ohz noez! Men everywhere run for cover because Mjinz thinks were all idiots for having preferences. Actually, women to because I know all women have preferences.

Actually, you are the idiot for that. Also, I think Sarah Jessica Parker is ugly too. I'm not into most black women either, but I'd go for Zoe if she put a tiny bit more meat on her bones for example. To me, the color of the skin isn't a big deal, but the structure of the body and face. Oriental women for are typically a little to short, as I like my girls 5'6" or taller, a little too bony, a little to flat chested, and their faces typically are not all that angular. Also, many of them have strange head shapes. They are either very boxy looking heads, or they have a weird conical shape to them, usually from orientals found in SE Asia.

However, I have found some really really really hot oriental women in my time. One girl I dated back in high school in Hawaii was one. She was japanese and very lovely. Then there was this mix race girl I dated a few years back that was from Singapore. Her father was pure British decent and her mother was a pretty attractive Chinese woman. She got the best of both worlds and was absolutely wow for me.

Mjinz, I was trying to derail the thread a bit from the really poor taste of this racial/caste crap into something guys can more readily talk about. The relative hotness of women and our taste in them :) Just doing it in regards to oriental women.

Come on, that is just plain dumb. Of course, racism exists all over the planet, and no ethnicity is immune. However, not everybody is racist. In my experience, every ethnicity/race etcetera has utterly wonderful members.

Your question can only be answered by experience. You'd have to be there in all the complexity to get any sense of the enormity of the answer. And the best answer is to see beyond race/ethnicity. Believe me, you don't want to get hung up in that quagmire.

No.. they all hate each other for one reason or another. However, they all equally hate the Japanese in general.
