Technically Canada is in North America, so they're Americans too. But we call people from the US American and people from Canada Canadian. Probably because United Statesian sounds dumb. Also I prefer the term British to English, can't really say why.

I got to thinking and realized the US is the only country with the word "America" in its full name. But some people just have to get uppity because we share the name with a couple of continents.

I don't like Led Zeppelin; they're out and out thieves.

Stolen by LZ Part I

Stolen by LZ Part II

Stolen by LZ Part III

They are so bad they needed three videos chronicling their theft. And none of the examples are anything like samples found in rap songs. Every instance makes Vanilla Ice look like a candy store thief. This is outright theft of entire songs, lyrics, and even style.

She comes off as a marketing managers idea put into implementation. Her lyrics are just an abomination. A pretty blonde from Nashville trying to play the part of a drug addicted slutbag from LA. Just not believable.

Yeah right, as opposed to the giant fraud that is rap/dance music for the past 30 years. Where would groups like The Black Eyed Peas be without ripping off, er licensing, other people's hooks?

LZ lifted a bunch of stuff but at the core they were all great musicians.

Some of those 'covers' were already covers.

In LZ's day it still wasn't standard procedure to give 'credit'.

Anyway outside this, they have proven themselves as ROCK GODS. That doesn't ever mean you are the best musician. They entertain, people like that.

A lot of songs if studied can be traced back to some influence.

I can't stand Pearl Jam. They don't have a single song I find tolerable. I hate that asshole's voice.
