Are there any reviews out for the retail versions of 7900 gt/gtx?

All the reviews so far are for the reference boards from Nvidia, right? But, those aren't the ones we'll be buying. We will buy eVGA, BFG, XFX, etc. In fact, can we even buy a "plain" one from Nvidia? Honest question.

So far, I have only found a review of the XFX 7900 GT XXX at Bjorn3d. According to their benchmarks, it has nearly the performance of the 7800 GTX 512. Guru3D supposedly has a review of the eVGA 7900 GTX Superclocked, but it looks more like a Superclocked preview with normal 7900 GTX benchmarks. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So, have you seen any other reviews of the third party cards that we'll actually be buying?

its really not obvious from your post, it would be if it went like this:

"Are there any reviews out for the retail versions of 7900 gt/gtx? (searched already)"

but I have seen so many threads and reviews on those new cards in the past week I think I have them memorized..

So again I'll ask you to search a bit harder. btw I wasn't being an ass but alot of threads can be avoided with a little searching.

Try reading my post, and not just just the thread title. You will see that I have searched. You will see that I found some results, but they weren't great. If you can't see that, then you are not very perceptive. Or, maybe you're just being an ass.

Anyway, have you found something else? If so, would you please point me in the right direction?

go to the NV website, they give a good number of reviews....some are just "previews" but some are straight up reviews & benchmarks.
