Are there any memory speed calculator programs out there?

if it's for an Athlon 64 system, this might be what you're looking for: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=61939

A guy over at xtremesystems made something to plug in your maximum CPU/FSB/RAM overclocks and it will work out the best combination. I posted the other forum topic because he gives you directions on how to use it. there's a link from that topic to it. This was posted somewhere else on this forum I think.

Its simple. HTT times Multipler= Clock speed.

HTT and FSB(memory) are two different things. At default both HTT and FSB(memory) are set at 200. If you want to use a divider, you will be LOWERING your FSB but keeping the same HTT. If you raise the HTT, the FSB will raise according to the divider. If you use a 3:2 divider, and set HTT to 300, your memory will be at 200.

I made a post about this a while back...I'll try and remember it...
Your Varibles: CPU Speed: S, RAM Speed: R, CPU Mulitplier: M HTT Speed:H RAM Divider (as a fraction of 1): D.

R=(S/[M/{D}])

For, say an A64 3200+ you have a CPU speed of 2000, a 10x CPU multi, and a 1:1 ram divider. So... 200=(2000/[10/{1}]), it checks out. Say you're running at 2.4 though, and your RAM doesn't OC well, so you put up a 5/6 ram divider.
(2400/[10]/{.83}])=R Simplifes down to 2400/12=200. See?
