Are there any low end 13in laptops?

My sister wants a portable computer to carry around and a 13 in would be ideal. But it doesn't seem like there are any low end ones out there for under 700. My other option is to get her a DV-2 which are on sale for 600 bucks every now and then.

Try the Dell Outlet. It has quite a few reasonably priced 13.3" models available now. If you sign up for coupons and wait a couple of weeks, you can save 10-15% more.

I have been buying laptops from the Dell Outlet for over 10 years and never been disappointed. Dell Outlet machines come with the same standard warranties as new machines and you can purchase additional coverage if you want. Even with 3-year, next business day service, the price is generally hundreds less than you can get on comparable units elsewhere.
